An unbelievable resource hog and extremely buggy
Some of the glaring bugs in LiSA have been fixed, but it is still severely broken. For a ridiculously simple program, it is using almost 1GB of RAM and 50% of my CPU. What the #^&*#????!!!! Was this written by kindergarten students???
Bizarrely, it only plays back canned phrases, many of which are embarrassingly juvenile or useless. You cant use Apples built-in speech synthesizer to customize the message played when email arrives, e.g., reading the subject of an email or the name of the person its from.
Finally, it stores accumulated time announcements while your Mac is asleep. So when I wake up my system, it might read 10 time announcements simultaneously, which is awful.
All in all, this program needs a huge amount of work. Im removing it from my system for now.
